Economic Machine

  • Resource loops - Harvesting/crafting. There is a time dimension - each recipe takes time to use.

  • Research points - Unlock new crafting recipes. Denominates complexity of producing each item.

  • Magic points - Can convert instantaneously into any resource/item. Can also convert directly into research points. It is produced by magical beasts and harvested as a basic resource.

  • National power - Proportion of research points each nation gets at the beginning of the next act. Council of Game Masters determines the total number. Each nation gets research points from this pool proportionally to their national power.
